Jac and I thoroughly enjoyed sharing many happy and fun times with Shirley and the Levy’s in Perth. We will miss Shirley’s positivity, great company and incredible memory.

Love to my two cousins Juilia and Loretta on the passing of your Mother and my Aunt, Godmother and sister to my father Jim Carew. Aunty Shirley never let me forget I was her godson and even though I know that her long life has been well led and had to go to God I can not help but feel the deep loss of my spiritual guide. Far away living in the Philippines I can't be present at her funeral but as she did every night for me, I will send a prayer for her. So many prayers she said for me one of note being the night before a welding exam when she declared that she would pray for me. Thank you Aunty Shirley because I was the only one of 48 starting participants that passed that exam, I could not have done it without you.
Love also from my wife Joy who is sad that she never got to meet Aunty Shirley and our daughter Zia and also my sons Sebastian and Ira.
